Chinese supplier only recently dropped their price 10% from around 50,000 usd to 45,000 usd this past week.
Although i might add this is including VAT, and excluding VAT is around 40,000 USD, which is what Lynas has listed in their quarterly for september.
All of this though, is most definitely not 35,000 usd!
and its thought that this is a temporary cheap oversupply by china to try and keep out overseas competitors and maintain hegemony, meaning its likely not actually economical to sell at these low prices and will probably return to normal (hopefully)
Although who knows, maybe china will subsidize the crap out of their mines to outprice competitors and to aid in their quest for communist world domination.
