Somewhere in Berkshires 7hour annual shareholder meeting posted on YouTube, Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger lament the US China standoff. Buffett comments how China has a lot to offer the US and vice versa for China as far as the two largest trading nations go. If only they could work better together.
Not exactly relevant or specific to VR8, but I think there’s something in that about the whole east vs west stuff. Obviously it’s never going to go away, there will always be niggle, and it’ll just mutate over the decades, but the takeaway is good business and good trade can come from anywhere around the globe, where the progress of a project has benefits for all involved. Just gotta be open to it.
