Think the rig/ well as is, is not capable of doing short test so pointless to leave rig there now they've made it safe.... It is feasible they could come back with a smaller( cheaper) high pressure testing rig.
But drilling rig needs to be drilling if it can't test. Costs too much money to sit around.
I don't think they can perforate in the Amistad due well design needed to get 4ks deep. But Alameda is possible.
Of course also entirely feasible the well is choccers with cement and they only gonna tell you that when they have the next shiny thing to show you, Zapato... Then upper sheet...... Oil men right? Keep you hooked.
