Yep, I've come to the conclusion that outside news driven fluctuations, the majority of trading is algorithm-based and the market isn't nearly as efficient as it was supposed to be. So when there is a small set-back that causes an initial drop - it starts an inevitable play out of scenarios like the 50% retrace etc even though anyone here that has done the research can see how under-valued it now is.. The algorithms don't know how many billions of barrels of oil have been discovered or about to be announced, or how the price initially stepped back due to a delay. Unfortunately some people will panic and contribute to the decline.
I'm confident we'll get a higher high at some point even if everything doesn't go our way in the future. If a lot goes our way it will be a significantly higher high.
