theyre trying to tag the ophiolites, in Zapato 1 - which they know host oil in the motembo field.
They view this as a secondary target. It may just be the ophiolites are a lateral equivalent to the Late Cret limestones. Makes some sense, as the existing wells in the Late Cret Limestones (bolanos and guadal) are also confirming light oil. Itabo however looks like it did not get oil, so it goes against this theory.

I see Zapato as a stacked target. Looks like they're only planning to tag the upper Placetas Carbonates...would not be surprised if they make provisions to punch it a bit deeper in the event they have established favourable carbonate reservoir lithology and oil in the Upper Zapato....to test for stacked Zapato reservoir Z1 and Z2 if you will.
