Co just signed two major deals, in a sector that has unfathomable potential
have clearly stated there is more, exciting, probably SP moving news to come;
they clearly worked out they only need $8 for whatever it is they have in mind, and it couldbe just to strengthen capital to satisfy partners or to protect from suitors - bolstering the war chest in biotech is always a good idea;
they have offered it to shareholders through an SPP and the cut off date was date BEFORE the annoucement so it can't be manipulated;
given brokers a kick up the arse through not allowing them to earn 21% industry standard ( 15% discount on SP and 6% in fees). Brokers are generally vultures, so happy to see a few of them starve;
they have done it well before any desperate need for cash which is always a good idea and in capital markets that currently can't work out their arse from their elbow just now.

and there are people whining. !!! Guarantee you, if holders don't take full advantage, the next time they need capital and look at a poor SPP uptake from a prior attempt to raise money, guess what happens - they go to brokers and then there will be those that whine about being left out, "poor retail" and "why do sophs only get a look in"

FFS, most of us are here long term and this is gold, gold, gold. Taking up the lot and more than happy to take any shortfall.

Top marks to SYC and the team for structuring it this way. Once again shows our management are in touch and on the ball, IMO.

And if they get bids for $12m , take it all SYC, take it all.
