anyone, to shed some light on the subject... as to whether there is new data or not, and why it hasn't been released as a standalone announcement flagged as price sensitve as all similar information was last year.
With all the comments made by SYC and Rebecca Lim about how excited they were about the first findings and how much they were looking forward to optimising the OmniCAR study in presos and anns last year, this year has been a complete dearth of it! Why, when the data so good (or at least looks that way)?
@bripoz cast your eyes over the following and tell me that I am wrong in my supposition that the company is down-playing our progress in order to subdue sentiment and the SP to attract more sophisticated or institutional investors???
Not only was Monday's news not released as a standalone announcement on the optimised testing of OmniCAR but it was in an investor presentation that one had to scroll down to find below the conference meeting stuff. Not only was it not flagged as price sensitive but contains vital new data! Go figure. The same nature and calibre of news was released in two separate anns on the same day last year and flagged as PS.
Then there is this - 2020 AGM Preso flagged PS and PTX Receives $1m R&D Tax Rebate - both PS. Yet it wasn't the case at the end of 2021. In fact, our $1m rebate didnt get released as an ann - it was buried in the Half Yearly Report... which I commented on at the time.
I know you are of the opinion that companies care about always keeping the SP as high as possible and that retail SH should receive as much consideration as other SH and types of investors... but excuse me whilst I choke on my laughter. Clearly it was in SYC's interest to use the hype in the market (the retail investors) to try and get the SP as high as possible into Nov last year (and I'll leave you to do some DD on that), but please don't think for a moment that a high SP is of value to the company at this point in time.
I am not casting aspersions about anyone in this regard, because it is clear to me that what is going on is in the best interest of the company to keep the SP where it is... and the smarties know this, hence why they aren't doing their usual promotional bit (well thats part of the reason). What we are witnessing is the usual cycle of a company that has derisked to a certain degree a core project and are now seeking a collaborator and/or as BigDaniel has alluded to a "placement" in order to give the company a catapult and rerate into the second half of this year and next.
Ahhh... thanks but no thanks to interpreting the data. Surely, that is the job of our CEO??? Exactly, hello Steve, how about an investor update webinar or is that too much to ask for in 2022???
