If we consider that money is usually made in mining stocks in two phases (a) proving up the resource and (b) moving from BFS to production, then very much ride the momentum, and this is my own trading strategy, for now. I also try to keep an eye on crosswinds that may undermine the rosy scenario from playing out. It is not always a given that your share price will be at a peak at a time you want to raise capital. Just look at MEY.AX in the uranium sector for evidence of that in the past 6 months: a massive boost in the resource, better recoveries from metallurgical studies, a research report pointing to a doubling of your share price (from that particular moment) and then what? The share price collapsed. Sometimes it's better to take liquidity when it's there, as it may not always be there when you want it.
