At the end of the day the main reason to get together with SXL is actually to get digital radio to profitability immediately through scale and cost out.
But you don't need to buy the whole of SXL to do that!
They should offer to do an asset swap. SXL gets 15% of their shares back. A1N get Listener. SXL could then sell these shares (they would be treasury shares) in an orderly manner on market to pay down part of their debt.
