Lithium is on the nose due to oversupply (no surprises there), and graphite was hit generally as the market seemingly has a very limited view of it only being aligned with lithium batteries. High grade (large) flake graphite as BEM has, is in a different space and China in particular will buy all they have.

I have the highest regard for Tom Revy, having worked with him at GRD Minproc. He is an accomplished and highly regarded metallurgist and one of the very few corporate people I would now trust. Having Tom at the helm was one of the many reasons I decided to invest in BEM.

One of the biggest reasons was the amount of testwork that has been carried out. Far too many project progress to DFS with limited testwork that makes process design far too conservative (read: increased CAPEX and potentially OPEX). Tom told me directly they want to ensure testwork is sufficient to go to detail design stage, the reason the project has taken so long to get to this point.

They have a way to go yet but I am more than pleased with the progress and systematic manner they are moving ahead. As long as Tom remains at the helm I am very confident my investment in BEM will pay off.
