Way back in 2020...Northwestern University has issued Covid-19 warning that the whole nervous system can be affected by Coronavirus.

• The study indicates that the SARS-CoV-2- coronavirus disease also involves multiple other organs, not just the respiratory tract, including the central and peripheral nervous system.

• According to Dr. Koralnik, "The Covid-19 disease may affect the entire nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord and nerves as well as the muscles. There are many ways Covid-19 can cause neurological dysfunction."

• The immune system to the infection may cause inflammation that can damage the brain and nerves.

Based on Dr Tachas's presentation, he will review:
.... (iii) the pharmacology of systemically delivered antisense oligonucleotides on inflammation in the brain and blood brain barrier considerations; and (iv) the clinical potential of “low dose” ATL1102 for diseases of the central nervous system (CNS) with an inflammatory component beyond MS.

Hopefully, ATL1102 has something to offer in this area just beyond MS/DMD.
