It's a money tree for the BOD's. This goes for the majority of ASX companies. Why should they worry how long things take whilst on very lucrative salaries why not milk the cow for as long as possible. They should all be brought to account (generally speaking). I would wager our companies would be much better off if BOD's were on performance based salaries along with a more realistic retainer.
