It has indeed been interesting to watch WGX hold it's own when, many other leaders have basically treaded water, or simply come off their highs (CMM for example), though EMR continues to amaze me (only have a few shares left ), oh and of course BGL.
Your trading seems to be hitting it out of the part Joel, so any small misses is... hopefully nothing over the long run. Perhaps the market is looking at this quarter being a fairly good one, with only a small amount of capex likely to be spent on its projects, compared to the rest of FY24? Going to be quite interesting to compare RMS and WGX quarter on quarter over the next 2 years (on the basis that nothing drastic changes). As RMS have Penny, but... WGX are hedge free, which does balance things out a lot.
@loki01 hopefully TIE comes good over time (like you, I am smarting a little from it, but... I was a little lucky to get out at the top and just start to rebuild a position. I keep looking at WGX and its, potentially still having an E/V of under $600m, versus the golden horse down the road with its 80% higher valuation, yet... production profile is very similar.
Hopefully the big bell deeps expansion solidifies that WGX does have serious internal growth options, which should be coming up in the next few weeks. Good luck to all holders, especially those that have hung around since WGX was first spun off. Bumpy ride to say the least.
