Paulsens has exceptional exploration potential. All their assets remain open on every project. Rig getting sorted. Paulsens was approx 900,000 ounces @ 7.3g/t. The current underground is 5.8g/t and open. The unmodelled drill results (not included in resource) are extremely high grade and shown below. NST's focus was on the really big fish. Once BC8 drills this, perhaps NST might have some seller regrets but they need 300k ounces pa to move the dial anyway. SLR sold Fingals and Majestic and BC8 basically doubled that resource quickly and its still open all over the place. People thought they were end of life assets as well. None of these assets are end of life with this team working them. I would love to get the extra million ounces at Paulsens, but they will get it across the projects over time anyway.
BC8 have stated that they will keep drilling for 3m ounces. That indicates that they can see a path to that number across their projects or why say it! These guys are conservative. 2 mines will be up and running before that. Some time back, i was sure that management would deliver bc8 into the multi million ounce territory and they have already done it. I have little doubt this will incrementally get going into next year with cash flow and just keep cranking. Short term sellers can move on all they like. dyor
