Almost a year after the adoption of the new mining code, this is perhaps the end of a project that has kept all stakeholders in the mining community in suspense. The last session of public consultations at the Mining Business Center in Ivato ended on a more or less positive note, with private sector operators having made their contribution to the development of the mining code. The implementation of this new legislation will bring significant benefits to state coffers.
