The poor result from DD-2 had little to do with geology 'or not being in the sweet spot' but everything to do with not completing the fracking, fluid pumping and flow testing in one program. It's important to reiterate this, and not to believe the geology was the issue.
Ask the company why a contract was signed with HAL who had a fixed exit date, no matter what. Ask the company why the CTU was sent to Shell for 4 weeks when we needed it onsite in case of issues, which developed.
Hopefully the next round of drilling will be taken out of the hands of the company and placed in the hands of Santos or someone other entity who can manage a drilling program.
