Fender was flagged for development back in November 2021.
All the mining equipment will be centralised in the one location (Fender 3.5km from BB) which should help reduce costs.
Fender is a big improvement over the discontinued Comet mine. Fender will provide about 20 to 40% more ore and at a grade between .2 and .5gt higher.
With Fender fully operational CUE will already have 100% UG feed with any potential excess hauled off to the Bluebird Plant.
