mate I have not followed since they were about one dollar...I must admit I didn't think their business model would work as did not think the margins were there in farming, with their multilayered management... but we had a period of very low interest rates and exceedingly good conditions for the rural sector , plus I was wrong anyway.
how tough will things get?...well cattle and sheep producers ( wools ok but meat poor) know a bit about it now, particularly higher cost operations... many grain producers have tougher times in their sights, but prices appear to be holding up which will buffer things. If a widespread drought, prices do tend to hold up on the East coast due to domestic demand. cotton prices holding up well, and water supply ok for this season in many areas.
