They are one of very few managers who do not mandate in their DRP rules that if the market price is LOWER than their discounted DRP price - they will buy the shares on market. So yes, if the discount sagas continue with closed vehicles, the DRP plan with its "generous" incentive is a horrible idea. You will be far better off taking the cash, buying on market and paying the brokerage fee.
