That's what we'd like to see, of course. I've commented previously that one of the weaknesses of VMY (which I'd once seen as a strength) is the presence on the register of several institutional investors with massive holdings. It's not my job to name them, and I won't, but some have been reducing over recent times and who wants to stand in front of a steamroller on steroids?
The company probably isn't going to come out and comment publicly about what its shareholders are doing, and the sellers aren't going to flag their intentions either, so it's a bit of an impasse.
Whatever the cause, it's a pity and it has the potential to destroy VMY's credibility. Is the stock a screaming buy, or steer clear? I don't know, I'll hold, with a watching brief, until I see some clarity about what's going on.
