As of this week, A. Forrest's Cos will be supplying the equivalent of 1/2 the homes in the NEM will copper intensive wind turbine generators and distribution cabling (made in the PRC). There is a smelter up the road owned by a company that needs to transition from coal to something more sensible within say 5 years. Can see how these rich veins will not get mined as part of the extension of what was the MIM mining plan.
