Reading a news release (Stock....head) about Chalice Mining, since discovering their massive Cu-Ni-PGM resource, they have raised over $300 million from investors to advance to their current status. They are moving to releasing a Scoping Study, PFS for Gonneville deposit and are gearing up for a strategic partnership to develop the mine and processing facility. Their ability to raise $70 million at the drop of a hat is amazing and it illustrates the benefits of finding a world class deposit.
In contrast, Stavely could go down this very same path with Scoping Study, PFS and Strategic Partnerships once the porphyry is found!!! Many hundreds of millions from future investor placements will be raised (one day, at an elevated share price to today's valuation) to get this copper-gold project into production.
Alas, No production yet, just exploration and Patience.
