@mode1971 I was a little confused by the language of this article that quoted escondia's 'sulphide reserves'. My previous novice understanding was porphyry and sulphide deposits were different.
Secondary question, I came across.an article that
is well beyond my comprehension. It suggested porphyry and massive sulphide deposits are incompatible. Do you know what this refers too? (Copper is copper, no? Is it a mine or mining equipment or technique that is incompatible?)
