If it takes another 5 years, then yes, that is exactly how long you should wait. If you dont want to wait, sell and move on. Sorry if management hasnt met Your timelines of Your investment... but guess what, that doesnt matter to management, the company, thier consultants, anyone else on this forum and certainly doesn't matter to the resource in the ground. You'd wanna be very high up that top 20 list for management to give a flying fig about your lack of patience mate
