Strike on search for lithium brine STRIKE Energy is adding lithium brine potential to its multipronged Perth Basin work, bringing in partner Trek Metals to test potential at its geothermal site
Should Trek find lithium the two will work to develop the next stage of a project which could include drilling more wells to test for brines, investigating how a joint geothermal-lithium project would be administered by the government, conducting feasibility studies and looking at a combination of direct extraction and geothermal work.
Looks like Direct extraction is expanding even here in AUS
