Why do you think the share price will recover quickly and then some? Does the higher 22 catastrophe provisioning and new dividend range outweigh growth in premium pricing and customer retention and planned use of retained capital to achieve growth in market share? Major shareholders Vanguard Blackrock and Australian Super presumably aren’t too concerned. The big turnaround story has been priced in up to now given recent price surge and mid term bullish trend. One media article has referred to the ’QBE renaissance’ and the CEO has described this as a strong result even though it missed consensus expectations for NPAT and dividends (see Morgan’s Reporting Season Calendar.
