"I trust Twiggy and Gina who are the Australian leaders!"... OK, hope that works out for you. Didn;t work out for those bought the Twiggy loan HAS $4.50 CR min-2022 though, or those in ARU bought the 37c Dec'22 Gina backed CR did it?
That said, it will be interesting to see how Twig plays HAS once mid 2025 rolls around and the $225M debt is due. He is one of the few wealthy enough and without investors to look after that could take over Yangi as a cheap option of RE prices if it took his fancy. If he plays hard ball and demands his cash or threatens to call in the liquidators then he might get it very cheap indeed. My guess he will take a controlling interest as part of a new CR for C&M with a 'new plan with government support in the works' at prices heavily diluting already smashed shareholders.
Time will tell, maybe a upturn in the price cycle and government aid will arrive in time to get through mid-25 relatively unscathed? The glaring issue though is every year Yangi gets more expensive and less economic, is another year it gets overtaken by better deposits. The iron ore market isn't a bad analogy considering the 2010-2013 iron ore boom... many new and old deposits from the mid-west WA, to all over Australian and aro9und the world were drilled out and feasibility studies done to show they were the next good thing. In the end, very few ever got up and most are accepted as probably never being mined, or being mined so far down the track as to be worthless today.
Sometimes a price fall isn;t just part of a cycle, it's the end. Usually development of deposits isn't a matter of time, it's a binary yes or no...
Good luck
