Good point about the debt and its what I have been thinking.
I suggest you raise these concerns with the CEO via an email - he may take notice if enough shareholders state the obvious - hedging the debt is essential as a risk management tool. Relying on positive movements in the gold price to offset depreciation of the AUD is not good enough, and puts the company at risk if the AUD POG goes down while costs increase, p;is repayment of the debt gets delayed.
I hope others also pass on the message to Bob Vassie, who in other respects has done an excellent job so far.
