Very strong day considering. We now have a lot of uncertainty out of the way. The result wasn't the doom that some had hoped for. If anything it supports the strong case that NHC is a very good manager of costs and debt. Very disappointing to see preventable job losses feature in the results, in times like these. Labor's back room girl might need to defend some of the heat that comes from that. I don't get why the media isn't taking this up with her.
Coal sector in general has seen a lot of big buying of late and its all smart money. It's just the old cyclical play from here. Coal price looks to be recovering.
