Cross pollinating is not my cuppa tea but you seem to be an experienced Biotech Investor.
The cold hard truth is there is only one Metric that acts as a Catalyst or an Inflection Point that moves the Value Needle and that is is "Positive Data"
or upon completing the trialing continuum "sales" or T/O .
IMM , Made a packet in the past but I'm a Fixed Margin Trader so I had a predetermined margin that was struck just prior to the Vaccine deal getting destroyed by the ASX asking a million and 4 questions and the deal clock ran out.
MSB "well what more can you want"? 40c to $1.80 for 2024.....
For me I trade to beat the bank % , most I load 10% to 20% and wait for them to be struck , this eliminates Greed,,, heavy DD reduces my fear but we are all exposed to external market forces ,, ranging from Unlisted Competitors who don't have to disclose anything publicly through to Countries blowing the shit out of each others infrastructure..
Looks to me you are making wise decisions on purchasing ,,, maybe you need to asses your desired returns??

Ohh and that Positive data mentioned above must be delivered to market well with a metric of Value attached $$ , to many Bio's talk up the Science but it must have relevant Commercial Value $$$ attached ,,
