Correct me if I’m wrong but I think in 2008 nothing was spared as it was a liquidity crisis and people sold what they could and went to cash/US dollars (including gold and gold stocks). If you predict the same then I would see the same outcome though I think these central banks are much more prepared for this type of outcome and can pump cash into the system.. why would gold (or gold stocks) go down in a bear market (assuming no liquidity crisis)?
