I can see both sides of the argument.
Think it’s good both Cos feel they have been shafted. Reckon the Co stuffed up by not making it an equal split at the time of the merger- it’s left SLR holders saying we’ve been ripped, we’ve got the cash, we’ve got the mines.
Then Red holders are left saying we got more because SLRs mines are all in aged care, and our mine is just starting and more valuable.
I’ve bought more with the SP weakness of both Cos at present.
Becoming a mid tier gold producer with great production rates, cash on hand and strong annual cashflow leaves this in a great position to continue expansion, possible divis and more notice from Instos.
The negative at present is that the Bod and Luke are at the helm- they’ve just lacked that killer punch to take to the next stage. Definitely consolidation down the track with the big SOI, but we’ll be taking in really solid coin over the next few years and have the cash to expand. Not that many other producers have a cash hoard similar to the new Co.
