Where is the Resident Geologist ?
The thread yesterday asking about the perceived value of the deposit too date got me to thinking again about the prospectivity of the Julimar state forest extension. When i jumped into Chalice I did some "ADVANCED" geological analysis via goggle earth and couldnt help but notice these white earth patches in and around the current drilling area. And up into the Julimar state forest, and beyond.
Can anyone tell me what they are....likely to be. Maybe its some sort of evidence of sulphides or some other mineral overly present in the soils in that area.
Scanning I can see that they are quite extensive in the area , along the mafic trend and extend up into the Devex tenements further north, and beyond!
If you look closely into the Ridgeline they want to explore in the state forest you do also see frequent patches showing through the trees on the right side of the ridgeline.
