Maybe it is unfair to blame it on the management. But according to last year's annual report management/directors took close to $3mill in remuneration out of the company. If dry holes can't be blamed on them, why the exorbitant salaries?
I don't mind if these guys make a lot of money, provided they actually achieve something for holders. So what have they achieved in the last few years? Very little.
Obviously, this is not just a CUE problem. But that doesn't make it right.
