"canvassing other parties as well" Definitely MT does not like the terms offered under the current JV with LKAB and Mitsui. He has an offer on the table. They updated it 6 months ago to account for the DFS. He doesn't like it. He is looking for more leverage.
I dont know where MT/Talga will get more leverage unless the state of sweden/the EU provide a massive grant/loan to talga independent of LKAB/Mitsui, or in conjunction with them. All we can do is wait and see if MT the magic businessman who got all of talgas holdings for 500k can pull a rabbit out of his hat.
