Yes a battery would be good but not yet viable until home batteries hold at least twice the energy at half the price on today's cost of $15k for a power wall , if you have an E car that has a 2000K range battery you can choose when to solar charge, weekends during the day or when the solar system has plenty of sun 9am to 3 pm , with Anteo powered reserve capacity in the E Car battery top ups here and there are enough , you don't need a fast charge, a couple of hours is fine , I have a good dual solar system a 10kw and 6.6KW , in full sun runs the pool, pool cleaner , washing machine , dryer, dishwasher fridges at the one time and still sends plenty back to the grid , its taken a while to get the family to use high energy while the sun shines .
