Those infos about how the trial design, dose levels and results compare to other trials in that field are vital to get a better understanding. I, for example, can live with delays that are caused by third parties as long as the data stacks up and can compete or even outcompete the competition / similar developments.
I can understand that CHM's main focus is on CDH17 as the high costs could be easily recouped if, if the tech works. According to Dr Bec and the participating hospitals and, if I understood that correctly, to Amgen and Pfizer too, the scientists are still excited about it. But the big question is how those, who in the end have to pay for it, public and private health funds, think about it. Big pharma won't make a bit if the insurers won't cover it. No cover, no reimbursement, no sales. IPD is an example for that. Highly demanded device, the only in the world, but the bureaucrats put one rock after another in their way.
As always, Dr Bec is more than just convincing when presenting and nobody can accuse her of painting an unrealistic picture. She just needs more support from someone who can turn her presentations into $$$, moving CHM away from begging for crumbs to being thrown at with bread by everyone.
