Seriously, the RWNJ (split AGL) brigade should have a good look at this presentation, consider what's been achieved and think about what they really supported at the time.
Under Split AGL they would have milked "bad AGL" for dividends and left the taxpayers with remediation while running the assets into the ground leading to unreliable supply and blackouts. Would have been great for Macquarie's energy trading desk I suppose (I am a MQG holder) but Australia would have ended up with even greater supply problems.
The RWNJ brigade can call Cannon Brookes woke if that makes them happy but his intervention in AGL has been good for shareholders, customers and the country. Compared to the contributions of some of the space fillers and lackeys given sundry honours they should build him a flipping statue.
