Is there anyway we can watch Hugh's address to the conference? Very interested in the sports rights line on page 15 as a 'further opportunity to change'. Is that an opportunity to reduce costs/renegotiate fees, or are they signalling that they want to get more aggressive in this space now that rights will likely be cheaper across the board?
If you take a holistic approach, that presentation shows why this is the best media business in the country, the diversification from total linear reliance has been brilliant over the past 3 years. Hugh has adapted and transitioned this superbly and one only has to look at our friends at SWM to see how lucky we are to have prudent management in charge.
To clarify, the 30% ebitda growth in digital, which now accounts for just under 50% of total group revenues, does that account for 9now, Stan, Nine Digital and the online components of Metro Media?
