That’s very vague, unhelpful and rude - particularly in response to direct requests for relevant research sources - and unlisted; which means very intensive research is required. And from the reply comments above - a fruitless task.
Bon Voyage mate! May you bathe forever in high-purity self-glory! Btw, Sayonara means goodbye, not an additional 5 pointless curtain calls.
For one keen to do some comparative research-only investigations: IPT
which has aluminium clay lakes of AL2O3 in WA jurisdiction - not NSW or QLD - and very early in its evolution in this space.
- unique climatic and geological characteristics that have resulted in the formation of what is probably a globally unique deposit of aluminium-rich material.
- Likely to be a very low cost producer,
- as the resource is at surface/very shallow,
- up to a few metres deep with no overburden,
- i.e. an extremely cheap free-digging operation,
- and one of the lowest cost producers in the world.
- Naturally fine-grained; particle size distribution analysis demonstrated that virtually all the minerals are less than 16 microns and 60% to 80% occur at grain sizes of less than 5 microns.
- Will require no comminution, grinding, classification, or wet-dry screening.
- The clay can be dug up and trucked to an off-site processing facility.
- A simple wash and filtration circuit is all that is required for upfront processing.
- A low-temperature sulphuric acid leach can be used which is a generally readily available and is a cheaper acid than the others.
- IPT has a patent on the metallurgical conversion process of the ore into HPA.
- The primary mets testwork eliminates the need for front-end energy-intensive calcination required in the kaolin process
- The clay lakes that are biologically sterile - environmental disturbance is negligible.
- Nearby fauna surveys indicate no species listed as rare or otherwise in need of special protection.
- The maiden MRE has been established; the Scoping Study will be finalised and completed within a few weeks, and will demonstrate the baseline economics of the project.
- PFS is underway - scheduled to be completed mid 2024, which includes
- metallurgical optimisation test work,
- baseline flora, fauna and groundwater surveys,
- and geotechnical, logistics and freight studies.
- The lab bench-scale Mets are already at 4N;
- the assays at 99.994-6 are with negligible contaminants;
- primary contaminants being iron, potassium and sodium, which compares favourably with the purity of other HPA products published in the public domain;
- the likely flowsheet is determined;
- the alpha-HPA final product is certified;
- the high-level review of the mining/chemical processing costs are done;
- Lodgement of a Mining Lease Application next quarter.
- JORC MRE = 3.5 million tonnes @ 25.1% alumina for contained 880,000 tonnes of alumina.
- Potential in-ground resource value US $17.6 billion or AU $25.7 billion based on today’s price of US ~$20,000 per tonne.
- Indicates a multi decade mine life of over 50 years, based on a processing rate of 60,000 tonnes of ore per year to produce 10,000 tonnes of HPA per year.
- Production of 10,000 of HPA per year is equivalent to USD $200 million per year / AUD $290 million per year based on a current price of USD $20,000 for HPA.
Happy to get feedback, and happy to compare notes and look at/do research into other investment examples, with direct links to published sites and data, listed or unlisted, and verified to actually exist.
Hope that helps,cheers & dyor
