This post has no valuable information to move the share price (I realize I will never have that kind of power and authority anyway, lol) and is mostly off topic so please ignore if not interested. For the bashers I'm not going to read any follow up replies if any, so please save your energy. After I post this I will probably regret it for whatever reason, but it's a little therapeutic for me at this stage of the game.
I said I was going to take a break from HC, but I lied. I haven't read very many posts so that should count for something. But just an update on our foster kittens which are 4 weeks old today. I have not decided which one will be the chosen "Tura" as I'm not the only voice for this major decision. I had to negotiate for the name, which was not easy against my teenage daughter. We have another 4 weeks to decide but boy are they fun. Having battles with mild depression & health lately, this little family has been quite the blessing. It's the little things in life that seem to matter to me more and more so I would highly recommend volunteering or donating some of your time with animals, very rewarding and shows what true unconditional love feels like.
As far as Altura, utterly surprised at the price of LI stocks. The $ amount from my portfolio that has vanished definitely has me feeling a lot dumber as I thought I was pretty smart last year. The market is truly humbling. I still remain insecurely positive LT. The macro picture still looks good but the LI sector is like whack-a-mole. A little confused lately as it seems like every LI company has its own set of issues. I guess that's how it is with commodities, certainly an easy group to push around if you have big money. FUD certainly at high levels. I don't think the West is quite grabbing the EV revolution. I always thought this was going to be a 3-5 year hold, probably didn't see the 50% correction however while ramping up for production. Would have liked to have hedges but too late at this stage.
Very distasteful for some posters to crap in other LI stocks backyards. In my experience it says a lot about someone who spends more time criticizing others than improving themselves. I would say about 75% of posters really don't have your best interests in mind. Probably the 20% that do, don't post. 5% probably have good intentions. I still read a lot of great articles about the future of renewables. YouTube provides a lot of great information as well. Thanks to those who post here that are the numbers guys, even though the numbers don't make sense at times. I have learned a lot, but still much more for me to comprehend. Patience and fortitude the key in my opinion, easier said than done I know.
