Maybe give one of the board members a call and respectfully give them your opinion on how to progress the company as per your post.

You should perhaps first understand that there will be no exploitation licence issued until the environmental study has been approved by the Mali minister.

This won't happen until next year so plenty of time to do what the board has planned and announced.

Maybe think about changing companies if the board aren't responsive to your suggestions.
