Yes, I would assume so. But there are probably other factors that play a role and I'm not sure exactly what they all are or what influence they all have. Pond depth, weather, deleterious elements, additives, transition timing between ponds... prob a bunch more...
Imo it would be safe to say that the ballpark pond area required for 10,000 tpa would be somewhere above 200ha.
Hopefully the PEA will cover such estimates!
