The PharmX aquisition is the game changer. Its application as an ordering/invoicing gateway is definitely applicable to other retail sectors which are infinitely bigger than the 5500 pharmacies. Any small retailer that does daily orders from multiple suppliers and has POS/Inventory system should find its integration with the PharmX application a time saver and increase efficiency/accuracy with accounting and stock control. It should have been looked at years ago but this is now possible under a single owner. Acceptance of the PharmX application would also open possibilities for Corum's POS and back office software to get a foot in the door in the wider market....there is absolutely no reason that it can't be adapted to other retailers. Ironically if I remember correctly back in the earlier years Corum's predecessor Cosmos' original POS software platform was used by supermarkets. That was prior to the acquisition of Lots and Amfac and a narrowing of its focus to pharmacy.
