The staged start is an NPV killer. Dewatering is obviously a huge risk and the state of the remaining pillars is a big unknown given the huge sinkholes at the surface. It seems weird that they are happy to stope the crown pillar in very risky conditions but completely ignore the zinc at kantienpan and K3 etc which are outcropping. Perhaps met and economics don’t stack up but low cost and low risk open pits to fund dewatering seem like a far less complicated approach
