VC's and Funds never buy on market but they will put cash forward and usually gain board seats - if you want the best outcome from any negotiations for either partnering or trade sale they will be the ones to get the best outcome for shareholders with a vested interest. They rule the roost in negotiation and would get a far better outcome than the board alone experience and rep stands high.


Who knows maybe PRR will utilise the option maybe they wont but if the next time they move for capital it goes to the US it wont be retail holders and if they pull someone like Third Rock in watch this space.


Prima would benefit greatly from that weight in the registry.
