While we are on the cobalt at Broken Hill, lets not forget the Cangai mine was known as the copper/COBALT mine. We know there is supergene copper at Cangai which is fantastic but from an earlier presentation by CCZ which I have cut and pasted below, the whole area has cobalt.
Two tenements both Jackaderry North and Jackaderry South hold cobalt and they lie either side of CCZ's high grade cobalt play. Cobalt will be a bi- product of copper extraction too. Win /Win situation. But the real shortage lies with cobalt in world supply. Management did their homework putting away this ground when the price was right. Great foresight.
