Fastmarkets’ weekly assessment for the lithium hydroxide monohydrate, 56.5% LiOH.H2O min, battery grade, spot price range, exw domestic China nudged higher to 92,500-97,500 yuan ($14,446-15,227) per tonne on June 3, up by 4.97% from 88,000-93,000 yuan per tonne previously.

AVZ product PLS lithium sulphate monohydrate (Li2SO4.H2O) = $7,613/t

AVZ DFS PLS lithium sulphate monohydrate (Li2SO4.H2O) = $7,355/t

To get back to some other basics, there are 3.4 tonnes of spodumene of 6% grade used in each tonne of AVZ's lithium sulphate monohydrate at 80%, whereas you require 7.5 tonnes of 6% grade spodumene to produce 1 tonne lithium carbonate, at 90% recovery rates (or in other words 45%, i.e. 3.4 tonnes/7.5 tonnes). The conversions are here - Post #: 49821585 Now if downstream converters were using the sulphate to produce lithium hydroxide monohydrate then that number becomes 52% - i.e. 3.4/6.5 - with calcs in embedded post here above. So again 50% is an ok number to use.

Also will add the LTR PFS recently released had a similar assumption in its downstream feasibility study, noting AVZ was using a carbonate price btw. Refer page 10 of Post #: 48288089
