is that just me, or does this seem to be an underwhelming value for PRT shareholders? at 0.4582 x 38.5c = 17.64c per PRT share. PRT still seems to generate plenty of cash. The media keep talking about the death of Free TV, and regional TV, but there is still demand for free tv, and people will always still live and do business in regional Aust. Not all people want to pay for their media services. I would have thought PRT could do a better deal. If PRT needs "scale", why not push Govts to allow a grouping of other regional media services?? Get the "scale" that way? Deal is subject to approval by PRT shareholders by way of a Scheme of Arrangement. So that needs approval by 75% of shares which actually vote, AND approval by 50% of shareholders who actually vote. Good luck on that one I think.
