Hi Black Cat, I don't keep backing losers and I didn't say gold is only for the big boys. I said that in IMO developing new projects (and taking on significant debt to do so) is only for the big boys. Of course, there will be some exceptions where small developers are very successful but I don't have the skill to separate the wheat from the chaff - perhaps you do and that may be why we have different approaches. My current strategy of steering well clear of developers and looking either for the big drill hit (sell into the rally) or takeover play has worked much better for me and over the last 5-7 years I've experienced no capital losses from developers struggling or going broke.
